Immersed in generous and lush nature, the organic farm lends itself to an unforgettable sensory experience. The tour begins with a walk in the family citrus grove to discover the cultivated varieties, the characteristics of the soil and the particularity of the climate. Here our senses are immediately captured by the scented lemon leaf, by the citrus smell of the orange blossom but the great emotion is seeing the hives arranged at the foot of the hill. We will meet the beekeeper who will show us the tools, clothing and introduce us to the wonderful world of bees; we will discover curiosities about honey, pollen, propolis and poison. Thanks to the transparent hive we will get to know the anatomy of bees up close. Furthermore, we will delight the palate with the tasting of Sicilian honey directly from the honeycomb. A table will be set up so that we can all participate together in the creation of a typical honey-based dessert. A few steps from the Federico II vineyard we arrive at the cellar and we will stop in the area dedicated to the vinification, bottling and aging of the wines: the guide will anticipate us some curiosities about the wines that will be offered at the table. Lunch will be served in one of the verandas or in the restaurant room and includes various dishes that aim to reflect the Sicilian tradition with a marked rural imprint. Everything will be accompanied by a versatile and captivating white and a red that evokes all the warmth of the Mediterranean.
