1) Visit to the “Dalla Mugnaia” mill:

Introduction to “ancient Sicilian grains”.
Explanation of the wheat processing process up to the production of semolina for couscous. Become a miller for a day at the Antico Mulino in Sciacca. Thanks to Caterina’s expert guidance, you will discover the customs and traditions of the Farmers’ Village, transforming wheat grains into couscous with your own hands.

2)Package of semolina included:

Each participant receives a pack of semolina for personal preparation of couscous. We use local zero-mile products, reducing the ecological footprint, and promote mobility on foot for eco-sustainable tourism.

3) Walking tour with guide:

Exploration of the streets of Sciacca through a guided tour via an app.
Visit courtyards, artisan workshops and historic buildings, enriching the cultural experience. Explore Sciacca on foot, embracing every historical corner through courtyards, artisan shops and historic buildings.

4) Tour to the “Charger Caves”:

Exploration of the fascinating Caves of the Charger, now a space/museum and lounge pub, where creativity is the protagonist. For an immersion in local history and geology.

5) Cooking class:

Participation in a cooking class dedicated to the preparation of couscous.
Participants will learn the techniques and secrets to create perfect couscous. Embark on a visit to the seaside village, where you will meet Anna, guardian of Sicilian culinary art. In one of the oldest caves in Sciacca, you will discover the fascinating history of couscous and prepare its delicious fish broth. Not just a spectator, but a protagonist. Participate in the preparation
of couscous and discover centuries-old artisan crafts.

6) Couscous lunch:

Tasting of the couscous prepared during the cooking class.
Fish-based appetizers to enrich the gastronomic experience.
Pairing the meal with local wine for a complete immersion in the flavors of Sicily. Your journey between Land and Sea will culminate with an identity lunch, prepared with your own hands. An authentic culinary experience that will taste even more special, sharing food and stories.
