Agrigento Temple of Giunone

The Valley of the Temples of Agrigento is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world. Approaching it you can already admire the magnificent panorama with the top of the hill the Temple of Juno where you can discover the whole Valley.

Agrigento Temple of Concordia

We can also linger on the magnificent Temple of Concord, a masterpiece of the Doric architectural school. It is a Greek temple of the ancient city of Akragas located in the Valley of the Temples. But to this day we still do not know who he was dedicated to.

Agrigento Temple of Ercole

Finally we can mention the temple of Hercules, one of the most beautiful temples of the time of its construction (510 before JC) but which is unfortunately to date reduced to the state of ruins.

However even in this state, the remains are visible from afar and imposing in symbol of the power and strength of Hercules national hero of Sicily and especially of Agrigento.

Scala dei Turchi

Scala dei Turchi is a cliff that rises above the sea along the coast between Realmonte and Porto Empedocle, in the province of Agrigento.

Over time, the site has become a tourist attraction, both for the singularity of the white cliff and for the particularity of its shape.
