Excursion in the traces of Montalbano

Departure from the hotel or the center of Sciacca by minibus, destination “Sicily Baroque”, where the series of episodes of “Commissario Montalbano” was filmed, inspired by the famous novels of Andrea Camilleri.

The first step is Punta Secca beach, to admire the house of Montalbano.

Continuation to the city of Scicli, to visit the Via Mormino Penna of the eighteenth century, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, rich in precious Baroque monuments, one of the most beautiful streets of Sicily, in the scenography of fiction, c is the street where the Vigata Commissariat building is located. ”

We continue with the visit to Modica to admire the Palazzo Polara, the Cathedral of S. Giorgio, and at the end we will continue by Ragusa Ibla (in the film called Vigata) with its beautiful center full of baroque palaces including that of Donnafugata, in all these places, the various scenes of the novels have been filmed.

Then we visit the castle Donnafugata, 15 km from Ragusa, and after the visit there is the return to the Hotel.
