Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Tuesday: Arrival in Palermo
Arrival in Palermo with own means and hotel check-in (private transfer available on request). Free time for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – Wednesday: Monreale and Palermo
Breakfast at the hotel. Guided visit of Monreale Cathedral and its magnificent Cloister. Continue to Palermo with stops at the Cathedral, Martorana Church, and Palatine Chapel. Typical lunch included. In the afternoon, walking tour of the historic center with stops at Teatro Massimo and Fontana Pretoria. Free time for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – Thursday: Cefalù and Catania
After breakfast, departure for Cefalù, a picturesque seaside village with its impressive Norman Cathedral. Free time to explore the old town. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Afternoon arrival in Catania with a guided visit of the historic center, including Piazza Duomo, St. Agatha’s Cathedral, and the Lava Stone Elephant. Tasting of granita with brioche in a traditional café. Free time for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 – Friday: Mount Etna and Taormina
Breakfast at the hotel and visit to Catania’s fish market. Departure for Mount Etna with a stop at the Silvestri Craters and honey tasting. After lunch, continue to Taormina for a guided visit to the Ancient Greek Theatre and free time for shopping or strolling in the old town. Free time for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 – Saturday: Catania and Arrival in Lipari
After breakfast, free time to explore Catania. Transfer to Milazzo and hydrofoil to Lipari. Hotel check-in and free time to explore the island. Dinner included and overnight stay.
Day 6 – Sunday: Boat Excursion to Lipari and Salina
Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day boat excursion to Lipari and Salina, with swimming stops at the Pumice Quarries and other stunning bays. Free time for lunch. Return in the afternoon. Dinner included and overnight stay.
Day 7 – Monday: Boat Excursion to Panarea and Stromboli
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by boat for an excursion to Panarea and Stromboli, with swimming stops and visits to the island villages. In the evening, admire the Sciara del Fuoco, where the spectacular eruptions of Stromboli’s volcano can be seen. Packed dinner included. Return to Lipari and overnight stay.
Day 8 – Tuesday: Lipari and Return to Taormina
Breakfast at the hotel. Hydrofoil transfer to Milazzo and journey to Taormina. Free day to explore the city or relax on its enchanting beaches. Free time for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9 – Wednesday: Taormina – End of Tour
Breakfast at the hotel and end of services. (Private transfer to the airport available on request.)
